The German computer magazine c't have indicated they want to include Find As You Type on a DVD they will include with the magazine later this year. I've given them the go-ahead of course.
The spread of my fame continues. :-P

It's a known issue. Find As You Type uses the selection to highlight text for regular searches, so it doesn't work properly on sites that interfere with selections.
"Highlight all" is not affected because it uses a different highlighting method.
Finding a fix for this is definitely on the list for the next version, but as always I cannot say when that will come out.

Ok, glad to see quick reply to a bug-report :-) These days many saoft lacks good support.
Simple question: then why don't you use the hilite all method for normal search if works everywhere? There's a good reason?

Because I implemented highlight all later and the regular search already worked that way, and changing it wouldn't've been trivial. I will likely use that method to fix the bug in a later version though.
